How to Safely Remove Spring Bars From Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System
Question:
When removing the spring bars from the lift bracket, how do you safely lower them? You use the helper bar to put them up there but I dont see how you would use it to remove them.....

To safely remove the spring bars from the L-brackets on the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17500 you will first want to remove weight from the bars by using your jack to lift up the front of the trailer. Doing this will remove a lot of the tension that's placed on the bars.
With the front of the trailer jacked up you will carefully remove the cotter pin and clip from the bracket. With the clip removed you can then use the lift bar that you mentioned as a lever to pry the spring bar off the L-bracket.
