How Does Trailer Electric Brake Assembly "Point" to the Front of Vehicle for Left or Right Hand

When the statement is made this arm points to the front? Like the end with magnet points forward or the sided with curve points forward?

I attached a picture that shows how the "pointing" of the arm looks. Basically if you look at the arm as the head of an arrow that will be the direction it points.
