Question:
I purchased this trailer to build a Tear trailer. I read many reviews from others using this for Tear Trailers. You recommend upgrading the axel. But the have high speed bearings also. $500 plus ugrade is almost $1,000. And tires about $100 each. Who goes 45 mph, except grandparents? Will the high speed wplork?

Ironton does require that their trailers like the 5 by 8 that you have stay under 45 mph. This is most likely related to the hubs that are on the trailer and the tires but it's hard to say for sure since we are not affiliated with them.
If you went with the Timbren Axle Less kit part # A20RS545 that you referenced and a set of tires/wheels with a higher speed rating though you would likely have the ability to go faster. For a wheel and tire combo that will fit the Timbren and have an 81-mph speed rating we have the # TA98RR which is a 4.80R12 tire mounted on a wheel with the correct bolt pattern. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
