Question:
I have 1994 Chevy k 3500 Dually that had a badly rotted factory body on it when I bought the truck. I have since taken that off and built a Diamond plate flatbed that ends about 2 inches beyond the frame. The hitch thats on it now is a lighter duty 2inch unit thats in need of replacement but with out the rear bumper it sticks way out beyond the back frame rails. I am wondering as I look threw Hitches I see Cab and Chassis Hitches your Draw-Tite 41938 Class IV would work real well for me but being a cab and chassis my question is does it extend as far out past the rear frame rails? Thanks for any info on this

For your 1994 Chevy K 3500 with a flatbed, the cab and chassis hitch options won't be the correct fit because the frames have different widths. Since you don't want the hitch to stick out as far as the confirmed fit custom hitches due to the lack of a rear bumper you won't be able to avoid some level of customization with the installation.
My recommendation is the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2" # 41990-07. This will require welding but it will also give you a trailer hitch that is a perfect fit for your truck.
Another option is the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop - Class III - 2" # C13701 which you will bolt to your truck frame which will require drilling into your frame. This hitch will be an easier installation that will also allow you to determine the depth you need for the desired appearance.
