Replacement Bearing Grease Seal for 1996 Procraft Trailer

Question:
I am changing out my destroyed bearings and seal on my 1996 210 Procraft trailer dual wheels .Front left with brake drum . Procraft is out of business so I cannot get any specs on their trailers. The Seal is destroyed and has no numbers on it. The outer bearing is a L44649 and the inner is a L68149. Using just a standard tape it looks like the seal is around 2.3 outer and around 1.7. Do you think this is a obsolete Seal ? The seal is in two different pieces with no rubber seal in picture

The Bearing Kit for #84 Spindle, L44649/L68149 Bearings, 10-19 Double Lip Seal # BK2-100 is very standard for your bearing combination. The seal however is 2.565 inches outer diameter and 1.719 inner diameter. This is by far the most common combination that fits most 3,500 lb axles.
The best way to check your actual seal requirements is to use a digital caliper for even more precision. You will measure the inside lip of your hub at the seal and then your trailer spindle at the seal location. I've attached a photo to assist as well as a couple videos on how to use the caliper.
I've linked the page to all our seals to assist once you have the measurements. Although we don't have every seal made, we do have the most common. Grease seals need to be precise so you don't end up with grease leaking and bearings that are destroyed like what you have experienced.
