Question:
The # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K matches my spindles, my 6x5.5 bolt pattern, and my 16inch wheel size. But I cant find brakes that fit these drums and my 16inch wheel size. All the 10inch brakes Im finding dont fit 16inch wheels. What should I do? Does the wheel size on the brake description really matter if they fit the drums?

Expert Reply:
The correct brake assemblies to go with the trailer hub part # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K you mentioned are the part # AKEBRK-35L-SA for the driver side and part # AKEBRK-35R-SA for the passenger side. These actually don't contact the wheel of the axle at all so the wheel size does not matter with these. The hub you mentioned is what connects to the wheel and is compatible with 16 inch trailer wheels.
