Troubleshooting Furrion TV Remote Not Working

Question:

Remote stopped working after three years of occasional use. New batteries did not help. Is there any troubleshooting?

I reached out to my contact at Furrion who said that if your Furrion Remote, like part # FR34FR, isn't working even after replacing the batteries then there are 2 other things you can try.

First off inspect the contacts where your batteries connect for any places where the batteries have leaked and left behind a type of crust. You can use a razor knife to clean that off. If that didn't work or you don't have the corrosion then try cracking open the remote itself and cleaning the PC board.

If neither of these options cause your remote to start working then the only other thing you can do is replace your remote. Part # FR34FR is the correct replacement for any Furrion TV that was made after 2016.
