Question:
Is there different threads on the 1/2 bolt. The thread looks real fine like #32

Expert Reply:
The majority of drive-in lug studs like part # 165995 use a fine thread but only a 1/2"-20 tpi (threads per inch), not a 1/2"-32 tpi. I am not aware of any lug nuts we offer that will fit a 1/2"-32 tpi but what you can do is measure the bolt you have now to see if there are in fact 32 threads per inch as opposed to the much more common count of 20 threads per inch. If you do have 1/2"-32 tpi bolts then you will need to go to the hardware store in order to find a compatible nut but if you instead have 1/2"-20 tpi bolts then you can use either part # 12CLN or part # CE11051. There is also the option to change out the lug studs as well. In order to offer a replacement for this I would need the following bits of info from you (see photo).
