Brakes Compatible With Dexter 81022 Vortex Hubs On a 2024 Load Rite Trailer

Question:
We bought a 2024 load rite trailer, tandem axle with surge brakes. We changed the 2 rear hubs for vortex 81022 dexter 5 on 41/2. My question is, to replace the hubs with surge brakes to the dexter vortex hubs. What hubs do I need. And do I need to then replace the surge brakes or can I buy hubs without replacing the brakes. Thank you

To use the Dexter 81002 Vortex hubs on your boat trailer you would need to slip on style rotors like the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R35S. If your 2024 load rite trailer uses drum brakes you would need the disc brake kit and to change our the actuator for one compatible with disc brakes. If you can send me an image of your surge coupler I can help you find the correct replacement.
