Question:

Hello, Im looking for a spare tire mount for a 15 inch vintage 4 lug dexstar rim. Is there a mount that will work? My camper is a 1973 Aristocrat lo-liner. Thanks.

For a 15-inch vintage style 4-lug trailer wheel like # AM20395 that has a wide 9.44-inch hole spacing you'll need to get creative to make a spare tire carrier since there we have no off-the-shelf solution.

A cost-effective method is to use a simple u-shaped part like # CE22011Z-11050-2 (12-1/4-inches) or # CE22007Z-11050-2 (8-3/4-inches long) along with preferable a steel plate or disk large enough to full most of the inside space on the wheel's mounting surface. The closed end of the u-shaped carrier can then be positioned around the inside of the trailer frame and its two ends can protrude outward through the steel plate to let you secure the spare.

Please see the photo I prepared to see what I mean. I recommend using two of the u-shaped carriers for safety.
