Installation of Track Mounted Rhino-Rack System on Tonneau Cover When Trimming Length is Required

I’m looking for a rack system that can be installed on my undercover se tonneau cover. 5 foot bed, 2019 Chevy Colorado. Because I’d the contours of the cover, I think 63 inches is going to be too long. Can the tracks be trimmed and if so, how much? Thanks in advance.

For your Undercover SE Tonneau cover on your 2019 Chevy Colorado you can use the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System w/ 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars - Track Mount - Black - 59" Long # Y02-490B will work by simply trimming the tracks as you mentioned. There isn't a specific amount to be trimmed, they can simply be trimmed to your desired length. Note that the wider slot on whichever end is trimmed will be lost so removal would need to be from the untrimmed edge.

Alternatively you can use the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Factory Tracks - 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars - Black - 59" Long # Y02-490B-NT and then shorter tracks like the Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks - Channel Mount - 55" Long - Qty 2 # RTC14 for example.
