Installation of Furrion Observation Camera System on Pre-Wired 5th Wheel Trailer

Updated 03/04/2019 | Published 03/02/2019

Question:

Any specific advice for installing a Furrion observation camera on a VanLeigh Vilano 320GK 5th wheel? I am told it is pre wired for a back-up camera. The 7” model would be my preference.

The Furrion RV Observation Camera System w/ Monitor and Bracket - Wireless - 5" Screen # FOS05TASF is a very popular system for many trailers. If your trailer comes prewired for a camera, this is most likely the system that it came designed for and it will be ready to simply plug and play. The photos I can find of your trailer show this prewiring specifically for this system which is the case the majority of the time with pre-wired trailers. You will simply plug in the camera to the pre-wired bracket and then sync the camera with the monitor using the button on the camera itself.

You can add additional cameras to this system using the Furrion Vision S Side Camera w/ Marker Light Bracket - 2 Cameras # FCE48TASL to replace a clearance light on each side of your trailer. This will give you the clearance light and also a camera on each side for a better view. The 7 inch monitor will allow quad view so you can see all the cameras at the same time if desired.
