Question:
I have a 5x8 utility trailer with 4.80 x12 carrier star tires. What are the best size to use if I want to use them on the highway for 3 hrs drives. Want tires that won’t over heat driving at 70-75 mph

You are definitely going to need radial tires for highway speeds and the best option is the Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT48012C.

This tire has a load range of C with a capacity of 990 lbs when inflated to 90 psi, so if your utility trailer has a GVWR of 1,980 lbs or less a pair of these tires would be perfect for you.
