Can Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System be Connected to Upfitter Switch on Ford F-250
Published 02/15/2019 >
Question:
Can this unit be installed using the factory installed Ford upfitter switches? The thought would be that when the upfitter switch is on, that just provides power to the unit to then be controlled with the remote.

Since the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 automatically restores air in the air bags when it senses that the pressure falls below what you have selected I don't recommend connecting the power from this unit to an Upfitter switch on your Ford F-250. Yes it is technically possible to do so but that means you would have to leave it on to ensure that the your bags stay at the determined air pressure.
The best option is to just wire the power directly to your battery and then use the remote control to adjust your air bags.
