The differance between the smd and the krd . Why is the matt finish not offered on the smd and the 1 foot locking

For your 2017 Ram 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot long bed the part # 311-SMD77A01 is the Pace Edwards SwitchBlade tonneau and the part # 311-KRD77A01 is their UltraGroove cover. Both of these are spring loaded so that to open them you just release the lever and the slide forward fully open. The UltraGroove can then be pulled back closed or stopped partially open and the Switchblade will be either fully open or fully closed. It can not partially open.
The UltraGroove also has a T-slots so that roof rack crossbars could be added and an improved seal setup to prevent water from getting in. In my opinion the UltraGroove really is the winner. Matte finish just happens to not be available for the Switchblade. I attached review videos for both.
