If your trailer does have 6,000 pound axle it's likely you'll need the # K71-656-00 E-Z Flex Suspension System. The equalizers are 5-5/8 inches long between the bolt holes center on center.
The other kit we carry is # K71-657-00 which is generally for 8,000 pound axles has equalizers that measure 7-3/4 inches long.

I have a conundrum... I purchased a used, custom built triple axle enclosed cargo/car-hauler trailer. The trailer was built by a company who is no longer in business. I am wanting to upgrade the suspension bolts and equalizers, to wet bolts and cushioned equalizers, like the Dexter E-Z flex systems either K71-656-00 or K71-657-00. According to the tag on one of the axles, they are 5000 pound axles each has 8 lug hubs. However, based on the measurements for my trailer I dont know which system to . The springs are 25 center-to-center double eye springs the axles are 34 inches hub-center to hub-center, and the equalizers are ~6-1/8 center-to-center for the spring bolts.I understand the K761-656-00 system is for axles 33 on center and have shorter center-to-center equalizer spacing 5-5/8 vs. 7-3/4 than the K71-657-00 system, which is for axles 35 on center. Also, my shackles are NOT perpendicular to each other, but rather cant inward slightly toward each axle the top of the shackle at each eye bolt center is pointing more toward the axle tube instead of being perpendicular to the equalizer.Which of these two systems would be the better option for my set-up??Thanks in advance,
