I have a Thule Canyon XT on my 2017 VW Alltrack. Due to the panoramic sunroof, I cannot place any cargo bags directly on the roof, so which recommended bags would fit on/in the Thule Canyon XT Item # TH859XT?

The Thule Interstate Rooftop Cargo Bag part # TH869 would fit perfectly inside of the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket part # TH859XT and allow for you to transport additional cargo on your roof without too much of a concern for it getting wet. The base has padding so there won't be any issues with wear from the cargo basket and the inside of the bag has compression straps so you can make sure all of your gear stays in place. It also has some of the most advanced water-resistance features.
The Thule Outbound Rooftop Cargo Bag part # TH868 would also fit perfectly inside of the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket part # TH859XT and allow for you to transport additional cargo on your roof. The major differences between the two are that the Outbound does not have a padded base and it also has a slightly less water-resistance rating.
I have attached review videos on both options for you as well though they are on the crossbars and not a basket.
