For my 2018 Lincoln MKX what roof rack would you recommend for me? i have a totally naked roof and want something so that I can carry my kayak.

The roof rack I recommend for your 2018 MKX with a naked roof is the Inno Aero Bar roof rack part numbers # INXB115-2, # INXS200, and # INK676 because this custom fit rack has aero bars which are very quiet, installs very easily, and we know it fits and works well on the MKX as we had the chance to install the rack on one. Check out the linked install video I attached for this rack to see us walk through the install of the rack on a 2015 MKX.
Then for a kayak rack I recommend the Yakima JayLow part # Y04073 as it's a padded carrier that can fold down when not in use, and if ever needed could carry a second kayak as well.
