It appears you are looking at flat towing a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 based on the question/answer you asked this question from. Here are some more cost conscious options to consider that are still quality options that will work very well for you.

I recommend starting with the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-3176-1 and then using the Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar # RM-520 and then safety cables # RM-643. Another option is to use a coupler style tow bar like # RM-501.

Then for your tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which will allow you to utilize your vehicle wiring while still protecting the electronics. You may also want to consider the quick battery disconnect to simply flip a switch to tow and the charge line kit # RM-156-25 to maintain the battery while towing. These two parts are optional to assist in ease of preparation to tow and drive after towing but the tow bar wiring is obviously not optional.

For your braking system, I recommend the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700. This system will also require the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751463 for function. The braking systems are normally all priced similarly and required for your vehicle in almost all states and provinces.
