Question:
I have autosock to use with a 2016 Subaru Forester due to clearance issue with chains. Should I fit them to front or rear wheels? Or do I need to fit to all 4 wheels? Thanks

Since your 2016 Subaru Forester is all wheel drive (AWD), I recommend using a traction device on each tire. The general rule is to place the traction device on each powered axle. If you do not have a full set of four autosocks then you can add an additional two using the SSE Hybrid Snow Socks part # TCH70.
I would also like to mention that certain situations require an actual chain/cable to be used even though the owner's manual does not recommend it. If you live or will be traveling in an area where this might be an issue then it may be a good idea to keep a set of cables like the Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chains part # TC339DC on hand. These are actually made specially for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance and will provide more traction than the SSE Hybrid Snow Socks.
I have attached a review video for you as well.
