I just wanted to say thank you for this recommendation. It is a fantastic hitch. We just picked up our 5th wheel and connected for the first time with the new truck and hitch... spectacular! It replaced a Reese elite that was awful. This couples and uncoupled with no issue. The clunking and chucking is gone. It’s the smoothest ride I’ve ever had towing. The only downside is it’s sooooo heavy, but we managed. Lol. Thanks again so much for the advice. Could not be happier with the recommendation.

Best option will be the B and W Companion fifth wheel hitch part # BWRVK3600 which is designed to fit the factory rail kits of your 2018 Ram 2500. This will give you the best fifth wheel hitch around due to the reliability, ease of use, and tight king pin contact of this USA made hitch and is compatible with a Reese Revolution like you have. For a wedge you'd want the custom fit # SWW-06 and you'd have the best fifth wheel towing setup you can get for your 2018 Ram 2500 and Rockwood. Most RVers refer to the Companion hitches like this one as being the nicest hitch you can get, and for short bed trucks the Reese Revolution/Sidewinder pin boxes provide the best and easiest way to acquire the needed turning clearance.
