could I use this head the part the trailer attaches to on a chevy turn-over ball base? If so can I buy just the base for my Chevy? I have attached 2 pics, what makes these 2 different

The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # BWRVK3600 will allow you to utilize the same hitch head with any of the B&W Companion bases. It will be compatible with the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck base # BWRVB3500 or slider base # BWRVB3405 as well as others listed below. You will want the sliding style base for any truck that has a 6-1/2 foot bed. Long bed trucks will use the fixed base and any bed under 6 feet will require a fixed base with a Sidewinder for turning clearance.
