Question:

Dear sir, Petrobras Company use winch model 5352, and we want to know if Schelby Company has distribuitor in Brazil. We have a question regarding the handle retainer assy. Referring to the Owners Manual Winch 5352, the external diameter of the handle retainer spacer, P. nbr 1907-02 is larger or smaller than the handle lever hole, P. Nbr 2089-04, such that the lever bore slides on the spacer and compresses the spring. Thank in advance. Rgds.

Shelby Industries, the company that made Shelby winches, no longer exists. They went out of business in 2016 after 34 years. We no longer have repair parts for their products nor do we have documentation for their winches.

But for their winch model 5352 that you referenced we do offer a comparable replacement, the Dutton Lainson 1,500-lb Winch Part # DL14996. This has a freewheeling lever for easy feed in and out and has an automatic brake mechanism as well.
