im new to brake controllers im looking to get the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 for my 2006 gmc sierra 1500 im just wondering if the wires it comes with will match my truck or will I need an adaptor

To install the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 in your 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 requires you to use the install harness part # 3015-P. All you have to do is plug one end of the harness into the back of the controller and the other end into the junction box under the dash and it will be installed and ready to go. I attached an install video for this harness on a similar 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 as yours for you to check out as well to see the entire process.
