What transmission cooler do you recommend for a 2018 Nissan Altima?

I recommend using the Derale Series 8000 Class III Transmission Cooler # D13503 which is a fit for your 2018 Nissan Altima whether it has a 2.5L or a 3.5L engine.
The best place to mount a transmission cooler is between the grille and the AC condenser core as that provides the most airflow which results in a more efficient cooling system. This cooler measures 11" wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep so you need to check under your hood to see if there is room to install it in this location.
If you find that you don't have enough room behind the grills then the next best place is between the condenser and your radiator. I have attached a link to a helpful article that shows these locations and has more details on transmission coolers.
I have also attached a review video for this cooler that you can reference.
