Do the Lights Flash on the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller with Trailer Unconnected
Updated 10/09/2018 | Published 10/08/2018 >
Question:
Your video states that two of the LEDs on the control knob flash when the trailer is disconnected. Do those flash continually when not towing? That could get annoying at night.

The two blue lights (see photo) on each side of the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller part # C51170 will only display when a trailer is disconnected and the brake pedal is applied. You cannot turn this feature off but you can dim it with the included dimmer feature. You can also mount the knob out of direct eyesight which is more or less what it is designed for.
If you can tell me what vehicle you will be installing the Spectrum brake controller on, I would be glad to check if there is a plug in adapter available.
