Question:

I have a 2005 KZ 5th wheel 37ft 11800 lb. I need to know the correct gear box to order. I also need the replacement kit for the gear and shaft that goes on top of the stand that fits through the gear box. Can you help me?

In the past we have had customers use the Replacement Gearbox part # LC276602, Lead Leg Leg Repair Kit part # LC146059, and Follow Leg Repair Kit part # LC146060 on the Atwood landing gear legs with success but it would be hard for me to confirm fit without pictures and part numbers. Atwood was sold off to Lippert some time ago so direct fit parts are not always available.

With that being said, I think the best option for you is a complete replacement. If you can measure the distance between your weld stop brackets then I can confirm a direct fit but if not, you can use the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set part # LG-1 which comes with new weld stop brackets.
