This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver that will fit with your Highlander, even if it is a hybrid model. It's also a complete bolt-on installation so no drilling into your Highlander's frame is required.
For wiring which will give you a 4-way connector and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # 118449 since your Highlander does NOT have the factory tow package.
