Firestone Air Command Compressor System Does Not Turn On

My ride rite air command doesnt work, it shows 3psi on the screen and when up or down the psi setting it doesnt turn on the compressor or release air

It sounds like your Air Command system # F2158 has an electrical issue. The first and easiest thing to check is the fuse in the main harness. If it is blown replace it and then test the system. If the fuse is fine or you replace it and it still doesn't work then the connections all need to be checked one by one. Any loose or broken connection will need to be fixed. Also check for any corrosion between connectors.
The grounds all need to be attached to clean, bare metal surfaces. You will also want to check the wiring at the switch on the gauge.
If none of that helps you can apply power directly to the compressor using a separate 12 volt battery and some extra wire. The black wire is ground and the red wire is power. If the compressor does not start running then it is the problem and will need to be replaced with # F9284.
