Heavy gear or equipment up front can make your ride nose down and affect steering and braking. These SumoSprings Solo helper springs add up to 1,000 lbs of support at 50-percent compression to keep the front end level and stable. They help your factory suspension handle the load, absorb bumps and shocks, and keep your headlights aimed where they should for confident driving.
Not every trip has the same weight, so these springs react to what you’re carrying. With lighter loads, they compress easily for softer engagement and a smoother ride. Add more weight and they stiffen up—compressing by as much as 80 percent—to keep things supported and under control. The progressive action means a steady feel whether you’re just cruising or hauling extra weight.

When a curve or side wind tries to push you around, these springs work independently to keep each side planted. That independent action helps reduce body roll when you turn sharply or drive on uneven ground, keeping your ride stable and predictable through corners or gusty stretches of highway.
Made from durable microcellular urethane, these springs hold up through harsh weather from -25 F to 200 F. They resist abrasion, oil, salt, and UV damage that can wear out other materials. Minimal lateral expansion keeps them compact so they won’t rub against nearby components. And since they’re maintenance-free with no air lines or pressure to check, they’re ready to go day after day without extra work.
You don’t need a lift or special tools to get these on. The custom-fit design mounts easily with no drilling required. Two jounce-style springs come in the kit so you can upgrade both sides of your front suspension and get back on the road with better support and control.

Sumo springs greatly reduced body sway on my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter.
these look like the perfect thing for my tired old helper springs, I put SumoSprings on my rear axel of my Jeep a year ago and the have made that ride much better hoping for the same with these.
Installed Sumo Springs on my 2019 Chevy 4500 motorhome, I was looking for ride improvement without breaking the bank. These days so many products are marketed well but never match the performance that was promised. That is not the case with Sumo Springs!!! I am very pleased with the ride improvement, sway is gone when transitioning from different levels of pavement and the shock of bumps is 50% better!! Installed myself on front and back in about 1 hour, front ended up about 3/8” higher after a couple days, got front end alignment done but didn’t need any adjustment. Finished a 400 mile road day today and my wife and I are very pleased. Excellent product!!
I’ve made several purchases from eTrailer and have been satisfied every time! Recently bought front and rear Sumo helper springs. Installation was a breeze. They have helped reduce the side to side sway caused by wind, freeway traffic and rough roads. So far im very happy with them.
Installed front Sumosprings yesterday but have not driven vehicle yet. The front have full contact with the A-frames.
Should help with van side-to-side sway.
Shopping around for a set to install on the rear as well.
These Sumo springs (as well as the ones I purchased for the rear of my RV) installed easily, fit perfectly and do a great job reducing vibration and improving ride quality. Very pleased.
2006 Dodge Ram 3500 SRW 5.9 Cummins 4x2
Original bump stops were dry rotted and almost not existent. Very easy install. Took about 30 minutes. The Sumo springs are engaged all the time. This may be due to the truck being a 4x2? You can feel the front end is stiffer over bumps and dips of the road, which I feel is ok and not extreme. Towing the 5th wheel I feel the truck handles better than before.
Ordering and delivery was quick and easy. The SumoSprings really improved the ride of our C Class RV. The only problem was one of the springs had cross threaded threads so I had to tap the treads to make it work. They were delivered in a plain brown box with no manufacture information or instructions. It makes believe the were a returned item, the previous purchaser couldn't get them to work either. I just had the tools and skill to correct the problem.
I recently purchased/installed SumoSprings for the front axle on my 2018 Thor Freedom Elite 28FE. Having previously purchased/installed SumoSprings for the rear axle I have to say that the overall improvement in ride/handling has exceeded my expectations. As always, etrailer provided valuable insights and prompt inquiries to my questions. The level of in-depth product knowledge amongst the etrailer staff is second to none. Thanks etrailer!
I have a Workhorse W22 chassis. I installed steering dampeners and HD sway bar to reduce the "loose" steering. After installing the SumoSprings Front Spring helpers on the front end, 90% of the looseness on the front end disappeared. It is now a pleasure to drive. Very little sway from passing trucks and cross winds. I will be installing a set on the rear this year.
Super easy to install maybe 30 minutes for all 4
Fronts were done from above with wheel turned full right or left and load off that side with jack, rears jack to take off load only used large flat head screw drive to remove replace
improved side to side roll/sway ride is firmer went with the black capacity maybe yellow on rear if loads increase
What most new RV owners don't know is that the chassis that their new mobile home sits on barely has the equipment to support that new home. Adding SumpSprings is going to improve your ride and help support the structure of your home. FYI, use a jack on the leaf springs to help align the holes on the bracket to the ones on the frame.
No moving parts. It is just there and appears to be working well. I really cannot tell any difference. Perhaps, I am not pushing the envelope, but maybe that is the point (the envelope has greater limits now). No issues and I guess, piece of mind?
2019 F350 6.7l - got these as I needed to balance out the Timbren SES in the rear. They work very well and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to eliminate the pogo effect of a stiff rear suspension. ALWAYS get an alignment after modifying any suspension component and you will have years of trouble free use.

The sumo springs have been great on my work truck. I have a 9'6" Fisher xv2 v plow on all wintr, the sumo springs make it manageable around town without taking the plow off. The rest of the year the front end just seems to handle better and be more comfortable than before with just the coils and shocks. I'm thinking about a second set for my other truck.
2022 F350 crew cab 8' bed
Added rear rebel sumo springs - eliminated rear end jump after hitting pothole, reduced trailer squat, improved ride quality.
Added front sumo springs and rear bilstein 4600 shocks - much softer ride. reduced truck and trailer sway over 60 mph.
waiting on bilstein 5100 front steering stabilizer and front 4600 bilstein shocks. Each step has improved ride quality and handling while towing.
I installed the Sumos on the front of my f350 4WD 7.3 Gas SRW 4.3 Axle. I have the rear axle maxed out with the pin weight of my 5th wheel RVs. I have air bags on top of the rear leaf springs to level up. Wanted to make the front as stable as possible for steering and postponing “death wobble” due to wear. They are holding up well. I can’t honestly say if they affect the ride. It is certainly not worse.
Very fast service. Had what I was looking for and did a great job of communicating.
They help. My 2016 F250 feels more stable towing my 8500 pound travel trailer along with the EZ lift springs, plus Bilstein shocks.
A good combination upgrade I can afford and install myself in my driveway.
These are perfect for my use. 24 f350 srw picking up a 9’2 stainless v plow. The front squats .625 inches when carrying the plow. The ride might be better if I put weight in the back but overall very happy with the 1,000 lb front sumo springs. Without the plow on you can tell the front is stiffer but not bad.
Product is great, exceeded my expectations. Install is simple and straightforward. It’s a night and day difference in both the body roll and the handling small bumps all the way up to off-road conditions.

Appreciate you leaving a review Austin, It's always nice when a product exceeds expectations and these springs have been highly rated. Are you typically off road or do you plan on towing?
