There are enough differences between the 2018 Ram 1500 and 3500 models that the same base plate kit will not fit both trucks. You will need a new base plate kit that is custom designed for your Ram 3500.
The Demco Classic Base Plate Kit # DM9518134 that you were looking at is confirmed to fit the 3500 and will bolt permanently to the chassis. I have attached the written installation instructions that you can also check out.
