Can a Redarc BCDC Charger be Used to Charge a Goal Zero Yeti Power Station

Question:
Can the REDARC BCDC be configured to properly charge a Yeti 400 or 1000 lithium power station? I have a 2013 Toyota Tundra. I would run a cable from my starting battery to the bed of the truck. In the bed would be the BCDC as well as the Yeti. Thanks!

To charge your Goal Zero Yeti, whether it is the 400 or the 1000, you actually won't be able to use the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D. The Yeti power stations can actually be damaged from using DC power to charge them so the better option is to use an inverter like part # WC3720 as it will convert the DC power to AC which is safe for charging your Yeti power station.
Please note that this may take a while to charge your power station so it would be best to hook the station up to a typical house outlet to completely charge it and then use the inverter to keep it topped off.
