Does Wiring Need to be Added to Install Titan Brakerite II SD on Trailer

I purchased this for the perceived plug and play. Im a little confused on how the integration from the main trailer 7 wire plug, after plugged into the harness is able to plug into the SD Module. The harness is 8foot long but must somehow be run into the cargo compartment and then out to plug into the trailer. Ive watched several videos including yours. The all show cutting and splicing a longer 3 wire loom between the harness to the trailer cargo area. Please advise

The Titan BrakeRite II Severe-Duty Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit # T4835700 that you referenced does have some features to it that help make it install easier, but in reality when you are adding EOH brakes to a trailer there is quite a bit of involvement to install everything that's unavoidable. It's not unusual to have to add length to the wiring like in our install video that I attached to this page as well. I also attached a wiring diagram for the kit for you to check out as well.

This is exact same adapter as the Dexter part number you mentioned with the part #DX35FR. Now with that said your 2022 Ford F-250 shouldn't need this adapter so that makes me think you just need to put your brake controller into hydraulic mode.
