Will this fit on the Overland Edition without any additional modifications? I see from the factory they have a slot cut out in the rear plastic with molding around the cut out portion

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75699 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Edition without additional modifications. All you need to do for installation is remove the four bolts in the frame, raise the hitch into place and reinstall the bolts. The receiver tube opening will be positioned under the rear bumper, not in the factory cutout. The only trailer hitch that I am aware of that will retain the bumper cutout is the factory trailer hitch which will be way less cost effective than the option we have for you.
