Question:

Id like to find four of these U bolts that work with my equivalent to Thule Sidekick roof box. The Thule part THO2943 is what I have, but theyre too short 2 for my new roof crossbars. The U bolts for the SR4883 bike rack are at least 3inch and work perfectly. Thule/SportRack are backordered til October. If you dont happen to have them, is there another 4inch wide, 3inch high U bolt out there?

There isn't another u-bolt that would work but you may be able to use install kit # TH04997. This would likely require drilling 4 new holes in the box and plugging the old ones up using a product such as JB Weld. The included bolts have an overall length of 3 inches and thread length of 2-3/4 inches. The spacing between the holes in the other components is 3-5/8 inches so the crossbars would have to be no wider than that.
