Question:
I have a 2018 E450 Jayco c-class. I removed the coin holder in the top left of the mid dash area, but no plug. On the lower finish below the steering wheel there is a plug attached. I am wondering if that is for e an brake controller, or diagnostics.

According to my research, your 2018 Ford E-Series Cutaway does not have a built-in brake controller adapter port which means a brake controller must be hardwired and the plug you are referring to is not for a brake controller. In order to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 on your cutaway you will need a 4-way part # HM11140495, 7-way like part # ETBC7, and extra wire like part # 10-2-1.
