Is there a way to buy just the back plate for the mirror?

I am not sure what mirrors you currently have on your 2007 Toyota Tundra but if they are simply hanging off and you cannot get them to snap back in place they will need to be replaced as it is likely the tabs that hold it together are broken.

I recommend checking out the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS70103-04T, which are a fit for your '07 Tundra and have power adjustability, heated glass, and turn signals (though those functions will only work if you had them on your OEM mirrors).

Just the back plate is not available for the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS70103-04T; there are no individual pieces of the mirror that can be purchased.
