Can 2012 Kia Soul Be Towed with Tow Dolly

Question:
I am looking into towing my 2012 front wheel drive automatic Kia Soul with a tow dolly behind my motor home. Need to know if it needs to be in P or N and does the key need to be in the ignition and turned to ACC. Thank You

When towing a vehicle like your 2012 Kia Soul on a tow dolly like our Roadmaster Tow Dolly part # RM-2050-1 you want to have the vehicle in park and the key off so that the front wheels won't move or turn. If the wheel turns when you go around corners the dolly will make contact with the fender of the vehicle. I confirmed this by checking an online version of your vehicle owners manual.

I have an Acme Eze Tow dolly and my 2012 Soul automatic has to be in park with the key on so the steering wheel can turn.
