Installation was a bit trying. Ended up looking very clean and almost invisible.
Using the tow bar worked super easy and our motorhome hardly noticed the Mini Cooper back there.
Came quickly and is very high quality. Great directions/video from road master makes the installation step by step easy to follow.
Skill level is probably at the intermediate level depending on experience.
The #118-3 is a perfect fit on my 1995 Geo Tracker. When you pull off the removable arms you would never know they are there. The Quality is very good easy to put on all you have to do is drill 4 holes the tube on the base plate fits into the tube on the frame of the tracker and with the 2 bolts it is a solid fit. I was worried about the plate nut getting it inside of the frame but it went in easy when you put it over the frame tube and use a thin piece of metal to slide it in place. I’m very happy with it. I probably could of got it on without taking my bumper off but with only 4 bolts holding my bumper on it made it easier

Somewhat concerned when box arrived pretty beat up, but the contents were just fine and fit as advertised. Took about 3.5 to 4 hrs to install and looks great.
The baseplate was an exact match to the one I was replacing. Delivery and fulfillment of my order was handled professionally and courteously.

The 3151-1A bumper bracket for our 2009 Saturn SUV did exactly as was shown.

The Base Plate Kit was easy to install on my 2008 Saturn Vue XR. I like the removable arms because it doesn't look obvious that it's a tow Vehicle when not using.
I would think the product would be as good a my previous Roadmaster product.
The only thing that I have a problem with is the hardware. All the bolts, nuts, and washers, were not in the package.
Base Plate kit was complete and generally straight forward to install. Some instructions and dimensions were not explained in detail as they could have been. Especially the modifications made to the air dam were totally off. Most of the air dam is cut off to fit in front of the base plate. This was installed on a 2014 Chevy Captiva four cylinder car.
Haven't towed the Vue yet but the install was pretty much as described on the video and written instructions. One suggestion is to install the air dam over the tabs before putting the grill back on . The air dam was a very tight fit and I had to remove more material above the cut outs to get it over the tabs. I think it would be simpler to put air dam over the tabs install grill and then attach the air dam to the bottom of the grill. It looks great exactly as in photos on your install page.

still pleased with the base plate and it appears to be doing its job!
The hardest part of the installation is getting the grill off and back on. Of the six preexisting holes all but one lined up the sixth hole was off about a half inch but the car had hit a deer a few years ago.

Back from our trip Towed the Vue 14,000 miles, Coast to coast, never had any problems with the base plate or hardware checked the torque on the bolts a couple of times, they were exactly as when I installed the unit. very little signs of wearing where the pins secured the tow bar to the base plate. good value!
