Question:

Would it be a bad idea to install feet and cross bars on 2011 Lexus ES 350 with panoramic sunroof for a thule cargo box?

I checked the fit for your 2011 Lexus ES 350 with a panoramic sunroof and the roof rack manufacturers each state there are no roof racks intended to be used on your vehicle due to the sunroof. That does not mean there isn't a way for you to carry extra gear, however.

To do this you will simply need to use a trailer hitch, the Draw-Tite # 36416, and a compatible cargo carrier. The 20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs # 63155 would give you more cargo capacity than aa rooftop box, holding a 300 lb capacity.
