Ground Clearance on a 2010 Subaru Outback Wagon with an EcoHitch

Question:
I am interested in the EcoHitch, because Im not really too hip on the design of the other aftermarket ones and the OEM version doesnt come in with 2inch versions. Ive read the answer to the ground clearance for the 2018 Subaru Outback, but I want to verify that the ground clearance would be the same for the 2010 Subaru Outback. My only hesitation in the EcoHitch is the ground clearance when transitioning from a surface of one slope to another of a significantly greater slope. My particular situation is that I have steep driveway that meets the sidewalk and subsequently the street where the street and sidewalk are fairly level but the rest of the driveway is an abrupt angle at around 30 to 40-degrees or so. The clearance between the corner of the bottom of the rear bumper and the sidewalk when all four wheels are on the driveway ramp thus the rear bumper at its lowest point is a little less than 6. The exhaust tips obviously clear it and that protrudes lower than the bumper, but its also a few inches closer to the axles that goes the same for the mufflers. So, I cant base clearance on how the EcoHitch is in line with the mufflers and/or exhaust tip since it ends closer to the lower corner of the rear bumper. So, based on the head-math it looks like the EcoHitch may squeeze through if I dont drive into my driveway aggressively. Installation of any rack or whatever, would obviously be done when Im on the street and not while in the garage, because no rack system would clear that angle. Im sure there are others who have had this issue, but I havent seen anything on the QandA that addresses it specifically. Thanks.

I cannot verify that the ride height will be the same between a 2010 Subaru Outback Wagon and a 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon but I can tell you that the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7162 has a ground clearance measurement of 10-1/2" which is taken from the ground to the bottom of the trailer hitch receiver. The 2" trailer hitch we have that offers the most ground clearance is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13390 which measures around 12" from the the ground to the bottom of the trailer hitch receiver.
Since ground clearance seems to be a concern for you, I recommend using a skid wheel like part # UF48-979020 as this is going to prevent the trailer hitch from scraping the pavement.
