Auto Leveling Trailer Jack Recommendation for 2004 Jayco Designer FW
Updated 07/27/2018 | Published 07/26/2018 >
Question:
This fifth wheel came with electric jacks from the factory. We want to add auto leveling to our trailer. Would the ground control 3.0 system be the best choice for auto leveling or is there a better way to go about adding the auto leveling feature? Can the existing power jacks be retained?

Expert Reply:
Best option is the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote # LC358590 that you referenced. This is the nicest auto leveling setup around but it will require you to remove your current trailer jacks. There is no way to convert your jacks to auto level so this is the only route.
