Question:
Do you have replacement springs?
asked by: Mark
Expert Reply:
We do offer both double-eye and slipper-type leaf springs for many axle weight ratings. You can see all of these leaf springs on the page I linked for you. In the 8K axle capacity we offer two slipper-type springs.
Part # e39SR is a 6-leaf slipper spring that is 29-1/2-inches long. Part # e37SR is a 7-leaf spring that measures 26-5/8-inches. Both are 2-inches wide.
Please note that leaf springs tend to stretch when they are worn so the length of the old spring you remove may measure longer than the correct new one. Also it is always best to replace both springs on an axle to avoid alignment/tracking problems.
