Rough pavement and long miles can shake a trailer apart. This 5-leaf slipper spring flexes to absorb road shock and keep the ride level and steady. Each spring is built for 3,500 lbs, giving a total axle capacity of 7,000 lbs. It helps reduce bounce and wear on your trailer while keeping things balanced on uneven ground.
Durability matters when you’re hauling heavy. The 26-1/2"" long, 2"" wide spring packs five strong steel leaves that hold up under load and resist fatigue. It’s designed for trailers that see real-world use, giving consistent strength mile after mile.
Every connection point counts, and this spring’s 9/16"" eye comes fitted with a nylon bushing for smooth movement and reduced friction. It mounts easily using hangers or a hanger kit (sold separately) for a solid, dependable fit.
Matching spring strength on both sides keeps suspension geometry correct and prevents axle misalignment. Replacing leaf springs in pairs ensures even load distribution and proper suspension performance every time.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today, we're looking at our 5-Leaf Slipper Spring for 7,000-pound-rated trailer axles. Now folks, that means this spring itself is rated at 3,500 pounds and we do recommend always replacing springs in pairs. That way you're getting the same tension on both sides of your trailer axle, which is gonna help with the alignment of the tires and those kind of things and just give you a better all ride versus having one that's worn out and just one new. So keep that in mind, that's what we recommend.
Now these can flex to absorb road shock, and then they're gonna provide a nice, smooth ride and they do help reduce wear and tear on the trailer, having a well-performing spring versus one that's worn out. As you can see, there's five leafs in here in the stack and they've all been banded together as an extra added layer of protection. You do get the included bushing included. That eye diameter here is a 9/16 inch. The spring width is two inches wide and overall it's about 26 and one half inches in length.
Now again, this will mount to your trailer frame with hangers or a hanger kit sold separately. You should already have that on your trailer anyways. If you don't, we do sell that here as well. You can reach out to us if you need help picking out the right set of that stuff as well. Folks, that will wrap our quick look together up.
I'm Steve with etrailer, thanks for watching.
