Question:
What is the weight of this hitch? Will the hands free tailgate opener still work? Does installation require cutting into the bumper facia? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76128 which is a fit for your 2018 Honda CR-V weighs approximately 30 lbs. It will work with the Hands-Free Liftgate feature but a sensor relocation kit which is available through Honda will be needed. It will not require any cutting or trimming of the rear bumper fascia according to the owner's manual.
If you will be installing the hitch yourself and will need help with installation, you can take a look at the video I have attached for you which outlines the entire process on a similar 2018 Honda CR-V.
