Can Heat Tape be Used on Drinking Water Hose?

Can a heat tape be used on any of your drinking water hoses. I already have several heat tapes and dont wish to put out the money necessary to buy a heated hose. Thank you.

I would not be able to guarantee heat tape works, though there's nothing stopping you from giving it a shot. That said, a much, much better option is a heated fresh water supply hose such as # W01-5315, which is our most economical option.
