Weight Capacity of Dexter P-12 SLR SN: D5287869 Axle

Question:

The tag on my axle doesnt have the weight rating. I know Dexter sometimes uses paper stickers and Im wondering if it just weathered off. Is there a way to tell by the SN? Its a torsion axle. Dexter Axle P-12 Model SLR SN D 5287869

I called Dexter and they told me that your Dexter P-12 SLR SN: D5287869 axle has a 3,000 lb weight capacity. If you need any parts please let me know what they are and I would be happy to offer my recommendation.

I have a 2000 model year Haulmark Trailer 16’ dual axle 7,000 GVW with the following information on the axle tags and am trying to locate a single replacement axle due to a collision Dexter Axle, P-12, model SLR, capacity 3500 lbs, H95 X 75.75, torsion axle Serial number D 4877112 MARKL’L 222764 Is there a source that can help me to locate a replacement, new or used, with drum brakes? Thank you

@PeterL We don't carry any torsion axles so we aren't able to help. Best bet will be to find a local trailer shop to you who can order custom axles and get them the specs you listed.
