Question:

I just installed my new Yakima 2 timer bike rack on my new Etrailer 2” hitch, tightened everything down and there’s still a lot of vertical play. It is not snug. Looks like I’ll need to install a rubber wedge to minimize the play. Do you have any ideas of how to fix this? Thanks.

The best option to help reduce the amount of play you are experiencing with the Yakima TwoTimer Bike Rack in your Curt Hitch # C13152 is not a rubber wedge, but the Trailer Hitch Support Strap - Bike Rack Strap # 18050.

Loop one end of this strap around the upright bar of the TwoTimer and attach the padded hook end through the hatch of your Hyundai Santa Fe. I have added a link to a video for you which shows exactly how this strap works.
