Question:

I recently purchased an axle from you to replace my harbor freight axle. Unfortunately the spring center to center measurement is off. Tehran axle I purchased is a 48”center to center and the trailer is 461/4. Do you an axle available that will fit this spring center to center measurement?

Expert Reply:

The closest we have is a CE Smith Axle that measure 46-1/2" from spring center to spring center, # CE33201GA. This axle has straight EZ-Lube spindles, a 1,800 lb weight capacity and measures 57-1/2" from hub face to hub face.

The same axle is available, # CE33201GA-HUB but it comes with a galvanized idler hub that has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.

Another option that will fit regardless of your measurements are the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension kits such as # ASR2000S01. These systems eliminate the need for an axle and fit any frame width. I've added a link to our selection of 2,000 lb Timbren systems for you to check out.
