5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Use with a Lippert Turning Point Pin Box

Question:

I Have a 2018 arctic wolf fifth wheel with a lippart turning point pin system. Will the Reese 30051 hitch do the job? I messed up and purchased a husky 16Ks not knowing it was a bad idea. Now I’m in a pinch

Since you have the Lippert Turning Point pin box you would not need a slider hitch such as # RP30051. You would need a fixed hitch such as # RP30047. The Turning Point pin box moves the pivot point of the trailer back which is why a slider hitch doesn't need to be used (and really shouldn't be used, especially not slid back).

The Turning Point comes with a universal wedge to lock out the ability of the trailer to pivot at the hitch. But a custom wedge will do the job better. For the above Reese 16K hitch that would be wedge # SWW-03.
